A Taste of Perky Blenders

We're excited to introduce our very first live cupping event - A Taste of Perky.

We've created something special to showcase who we are, and what we're all about. Whether you're new to Perky Blenders, or a seasoned brewer, this tasting will provide an insight into three amazing coffees, and the process of cupping.

Even better, we've created this handy taster box, so that you can join in and cup along at home!

We've bundled up three 100g bags of our ultimate crowd-pleasers - Acacia Blend, Anthem Blend and Jazzy Max.

We're only releasing a limited number of these tasting boxes ahead of our live tasting - so get 'em while they're hot!

Our live cupping, hosted by our Head Roaster Adela & Co-founder Adam, will take you on a guided experience of these unique coffees. We will be exploring the range of the coffee Flavour Wheel, and talking you through the process of cupping. The cupping will take place on Sunday 16th March, hosted on our YouTube channel.

If you're planning to cup along at home, and don't own a grinder, we'd recommend choosing our V60 grind size!

About the coffees:

Acacia Blend

Our resident washed process - Acacia Blend makes for a clean, sweet and delicate brew.

Showcasing coffees from Ecuador and Peru, Acacia displays floral characteristics and a juicy mix of mandarin, grapefruit and starfruit. An underlying complexity of plum and dates provide a fruity sweetness, and the flavour rounds off with a long green tea-like finish.

Anthem Blend

Easy-going, complex, and balanced - Anthem Blend is a beautiful all-rounder coffee, perfect for espresso and filter alike. Featuring coffees from Brazil, Colombia and Guatemala. 

Buzzing with rich notes of cacao and forest fruit jam, with hints of cherry and plum. Anthem wraps up in a syrupy texture, with a very sweet finish of tropical fruits and honey.

Jazzy Max

Jazzy Max is our resident naturally processed blend - with coffees from Honduras & Uganda.

This makes for a super bright and juicy blend. The cup is filled with vibrant fruit flavours of strawberry and mango, with a sweet, syrupy body. On tasting, you’ll notice an intense floral aroma, and an aftertaste of honeysuckle & nectar.
