We’ve always taken decaf seriously at Perky. So seriously, in fact, that our previous decaf won two stars at the Great Taste Awards. Now, we’re proud to introduce our new premium decaf: Dreams (Decaf Elated) — a coffee that proves caffeine-free can still be full of character, complexity and joy.

Sourced from the breathtaking highlands of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, this exceptional lot is fruit-forward, sweet and vibrant. Expect notes of tropical fruit, tangerine, honey and cacao, finishing with a creamy caramel fudge aftertaste and a soft, juicy acidity.

Decaf Elated comes to us through our partners at Coffee Bird — a family-led company founded by Marta Dalton and later joined by her mother, Guatemala. Coffee Bird was built on one simple requirement: only exceptional coffee makes the cut. Their work centres on genuine, long-term relationships with growers and a deep respect for the hands behind every harvest.

The coffees are grown in Huehuetenango, Guatemala’s highest and driest coffee-growing region, sitting at over 2,000 metres above sea level. The combination of high altitude, cool temperatures, pure mountain water and clean air creates ideal conditions for coffee to develop incredible sweetness, clarity and structure — even once decaffeinated.

This lot is processed using the sugarcane (EA) method, a natural and gentle decaffeination process derived from fermented sugarcane. It removes caffeine while preserving the coffee’s vibrant flavour, aroma and body.

In the cup, Dreams lives up to its name: a bright and expressive decaf with candy-like sweetness, layers of tropical fruit and citrus, balanced by rich cacao and caramelised sugar tones.
