Oh yeah, Winter Blend is still here! The current blend features two extraordinary washed coffees, 50% Mexican Coatlan and 50% Ethiopian Kentite.


The brew is a perfect winter warmer... with Caramel
, Cream, & Stone Fruit flavours, all wrapped around a smooth buttery texture.

The Ethiopian component is produced in the Kantite area within Aroresa District in the south of Sidamo.

Combining cherries from more than 5000 small producers, the coffee is then carefully treated in flotation tanks to separate the ripe from the under-ripe, ensuring the quality of this coffee characterised by its creamy & stone fruit flavours.

 

The Mexican coffee hails from the region of Oaxaca. 200 small producing families, members of the San Sebastian de Coatlan Coop, combine forces to deliver the best beans of their harvest.

Most of the farms in Oaxaca are between 0.5 and 2 hectares and are managed by indigenous populations who help to preserve the native ecosystems, boosting the local biodiversity and harvesting beans free of agrochemicals in total respect to the environment.

The coffee is a blend of varietals, Typica, Bourbon, and Pluma. Such a mix displays notes of milk chocolate, nuts, and citrus flavours, creating a unique & tasty concoction.
