Trick or Treat! Limited Edition Halloween Half Caff
Here's our favourite way to make the coolest Cold Brew. If you're a Cold Brew Connoisseur, we'd recommend giving our Jazzy Max or Decaf a try!
Choose your brewing container - you can pick up a special cold brew jug with a built-in filter basket, or you can use your French Press!
Measure out 55g of Perky Blenders (obviously) medium-coarse ground coffee into the filter basket.
If you’re using a French Press, you can pop your coffee in the bottom of the jug as you usually would, and press the plunger down at the end.
Pour over 1l of cold, filtered water, and give the grinds a good stir to ensure they’re properly soaked.
Leave to steep for 6-8 hours, and patiently wait for the magic to happen!
If you’re feeling creative, you can experiment with the time and go for 16, or even 24 hours! The longer you steep, the more concentrated your brew.
Remove your filter, or push down the plunger, and decant your cold brew into a sealed bottle. This will last in the fridge for around 2-5 days.
Drink on it’s own, or experiment by adding less water to create a syrupy concentrate and dilute with ice cubes, tonic water, or even an orange slice!
